Regarding the new RPG Maker engine

So about more than a week ago, I caught word about RPG Maker MV. RPG Maker MV will be able to export to Mac, iOS, Android, and HTML5, allowing for developers to release for a broader audience. Alternative mouse/touch controls so if you don't like keyboards, you're not limited. Javascript instead of Ruby so scripts are easy and just as powerful. Higher screen resolution and three separate map layers. Larger database capacity (2000 from 999, who the hell maxes out on that?). Both front-view and side-view battles are supported natively as well.

Sadly, no release date or price (which is very important to me) has been announced. As amazing this engine is (hopefully allowing for video files to be done other than OGV), I have a project in works using RPG Maker VX Ace.

This project will be the last game made in RPG Maker VX Ace as AeroSoft moves on into RPG Maker MV. We will also cut support on games that have been previously made in this engine. Starting with Rosen, which is now cancelled. The rest will soon follow, so check their respective Gamejolt pages (just search "AeroSoft"). This also means Brony Quest 3 is indefinitely cancelled, but like I said. Check Gamejolt.

Check later for anymore announcements on this new project in the upcoming future.
