The fact that Nintendo went and fucked up as of recent. First, they ignored Metroid's 30th anniversary, then they send a DMCA takedown of BOTH the Metroid 2 remake and Pokemon Uranium, both are fan made doujin games made for the love of the games and Nintendo. Then Ash lost the Pokemon League in Kalos, pissing off more fans as the Pokemon anime offically became more formulaic than (Sharon Miller's) Thomas & Friends, Post first movie Spongebob, and any Nintendo game for that matter (In all fairness, Nintendo wouldn't fix something that isn't broke, except their lawyers).
Albeit the Pokemon anime is managed by TV Tokyo not by Nintendo themselves (just to clarify the last paragraph). But still, sometimes what fans and viewers need is proof that the writers and the producers can break the status quo. But obviously, for the sake of capitalism and not giving a shit about the fans, status quo is Arceus.
I sincerely hope Nintendo is going the way of Capcom and Konami. If so, Jim Sterling can say "Fuck Konami and Nintendo".
